Kim Kardashian’s Brother, Rob Kardashian Opens Up About Single Fatherhood
Rob Kardashian shared that he has stayed single since his daughter Dream’s birth, choosing to focus fully on fatherhood over dating.

Rob Kardashian revealed he has stayed single since the birth of his daughter, Dream, in 2016. The 38-year-old sock entrepreneur hasn’t pursued a serious relationship after his split with Blac Chyna, Dream’s mother. Speaking on his sister Khloé Kardashian’s Khloé in Wonderland podcast, Rob said, “I have a daughter. I’m trying to be a good example. I don’t bring girls to the house. I don’t have girls meet my daughter. I’ve been single – she’s eight years old – I’ve been single for eight years, since she [was] born.”

Occasional Dates, But No Commitments

While Rob admitted that he has gone on dates occasionally, he made it clear he doesn’t want a serious relationship right now. “Of course, I’ve dated and stuff, but I’ve never gotten serious or wanted to. My energy is just into Dream,” he explained.

He also spoke about his preference for solitude, saying, “I just talk to people… I’m good at talking to people. But also there [are] moments where I’m like, okay, I can’t talk to anybody, it’s too much energy. It’s just too much. I’m talking to too many people. I don’t wanna be like that.”

Living Life on His Own Terms

Rob admitted he may be a bit too strict with his dating boundaries, but he’s not bothered. “I probably should have fun and enjoy my life. I mean, I still have fun and enjoy my life, I just don’t care to be dating somebody, honestly. Unless it just happens. It just hasn’t,” he said. “I’m not out here going on dates. Sometimes I do, but I really prefer not to. I prefer none of that.”

Fatherhood Changed His Life

Rob reflected on how being a father has transformed him. He said becoming a dad made him more mature and grounded. “It’s definitely changed me. It’s definitely made me more grounded, and I’m instead focusing my energy on other things. I’m all about my daughter.”

He added that he used to imagine having a big family but now finds even raising one child a serious responsibility. “I always thought I would have like five children and this and that, so long ago. I couldn’t even imagine handling five children.”

Despite the challenges, Rob said parenting Dream is deeply fulfilling. “It’s definitely a lot, but I love it. I’m very lucky, Dream makes it very easy. She’s very smart and she’s a good kid. But it’s still very hard.”
