Robbery at Ghaziabad Jewellery Store Caught on CCTV
Two men disguised as food delivery agents looted a Ghaziabad jewellery store and escaped with silver and gold within minutes.

A shocking robbery took place at a jewellery shop in Ghaziabad and was caught on CCTV. Two men posing as food delivery agents entered the store and stole items worth thousands of rupees.

Thieves Disguised as Delivery Boys

In the video, one man is seen wearing a Blinkit uniform and the other is dressed as a Swiggy delivery agent. Both are seen collecting jewellery and other valuables and putting them into a bag. Only One Staff Member Was Present

According to the Times of India, the robbery lasted about six minutes. During the incident, only one employee, Shubham, was present inside the store. The shop owner, Krishna Kumar Verma, was away for lunch at that time. Soon after the robbery, Shubham called Verma to report what had happened. Verma then contacted the police to report the theft.

What the Police Said

Trans Hindon DCP Nimish Patil told the sources, “A plaintiff gave information that two unknown people on a bike entered his jewellery shop and robbed 20 kg of silver and 25 g of gold at gunpoint... Police inspected the incident spot and 6 teams were sent for investigation... A case is being registered and further action is underway.”

Police Investigating Employee's Role

Shweta Yadav, the ACP of Sahibabad, said the police are looking into all angles, including whether the employee had a role in the crime. “We are also probing the possible involvement of the employee who was present during the incident,” she told
