Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s daughter, Tina, has spoken up about the constant rumours of her parents’ separation. She dismissed the reports and called herself “blessed” to have a loving family.

Tina’s Response to Ongoing Speculation

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, Tina said, "It's all rumours." She added that she chooses not to focus on such stories. "I don't pay attention to these rumours," she clarified.

When asked about her parents’ reaction to the speculation, Tina replied, "Kya bolun mein? (What do I say?) He is not even in the country." She further expressed gratitude, saying, "I feel blessed to have a beautiful family and I am really grateful for all the concern, love and support we have been receiving from the media, fans, and loved ones."

Lawyer and Family Deny Rumours

Talk of Govinda and Sunita’s divorce has been circulating since February. After the buzz resurfaced last week, Govinda’s lawyer, Lalit Bindal, told NDTV, "Koi case nahi sab settle ho raha hai ye sab log purani cheezen utha ke daal rahe hain" ("There is no case, everything is being settled, people are just bringing up old matters").

Meanwhile, family sources suggested that the couple will soon be seen together publicly. "Abhi Ganesh Chaturthi aayega, aapko sab saath mein nazar aayenge, aap ghar aaiyega" ("This Ganesh Chaturthi, you will see everyone together, you should come home"), a source said.

Background of the Speculation

Rumours of trouble in their marriage grew stronger after Sunita Ahuja made candid remarks in a few interviews. While speaking to Hindi Rush, she joked about her husband’s workaholic nature. "I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He doesn't go on holidays. I am a person who wants to go out with her husband and eat pani-puri on the streets. He spent too much time working. I don't recall a single instance when we both went out to watch a movie," she shared.

Reports in ETimes even claimed that Sunita had sent a separation notice months ago. However, no further action was taken. Some reports also indicated that the couple reconciled recently. It is said that Sunita continues to attend court-mandated counselling sessions, but it remains unclear whether Govinda participates.
