The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 10 board exam results for 2026. Students can now check their results on the UMANG app and DigiLocker.
This year, CBSE introduced two editions of the Class 10 exams. However, it made the first edition compulsory for all students. Now, it has released the results for that phase.
Students Can Access Results Easily
Besides UMANG, CBSE will soon activate results on official websites such as cbseresults.nic.in and cbse.gov.in. In addition, students can use DigiLocker to download their marksheets.
To check results, students must enter their roll number, school number, and date of birth. Once they log in, they can immediately download their digital marksheets.
Exams Took Place in February–March
CBSE conducted the Class 10 board exams from February 17 to March 11. It held the exams in a single shift from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. This year, nearly 25 lakh students appeared for the exams across the country.
DigiLocker and APAAR ID Simplify Process
Students who linked their accounts with DigiLocker, especially those with an APAAR ID, will receive their marksheets automatically.
These documents will appear in the “Issued Documents” section once CBSE syncs the data. Therefore, students who have not yet created DigiLocker accounts should do so to avoid delays.
CBSE Provides SMS Option
Meanwhile, CBSE has also offered an SMS facility. Students can check their results by sending a message in the format — CBSE10 — to 7738299899.
This option helps those who may face internet issues.
Improvement Exams Begin Soon
Finally, CBSE has scheduled improvement exams for students who want to improve their scores. The board will conduct these exams from May 15 to June 1.
Notably, this early schedule shows that CBSE completed the evaluation process quickly this year.
