Portrait Gifted To Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary Sparks Meme Fest Online
A portrait gifted to Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary by builder Sanjeev Shrivastav went viral on social media, with users comparing it to the iconic ‘Majnu Bhai’ paintings from the film Welcome.

A portrait gifted to Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary by builder Sanjeev Shrivastav has gone viral on social media, with many users comparing the artwork to the famous “Majnu Bhai” paintings from the Bollywood movie Welcome.

The unusual portrait quickly attracted attention online after Shrivastav shared photos of his meeting with the Bihar chief minister on Instagram on Tuesday. In the pictures, he was seen presenting several gifts to Samrat Choudhary, including the now-viral portrait.

Reports identified Sanjeev Shrivastav as a builder. The Instagram post carried the caption: “Cordial meeting with new CM of Bihar Samrat Choudhary and CMD of Pallav Raj Construction Sanjeev Shrivastav ji.”

However, after social media users began mocking the artwork, the specific picture showing the portrait reportedly disappeared from the post, while the remaining photos stayed online.

Social Media Flooded With Reactions

The portrait triggered a wave of memes and sarcastic comments across platforms, especially on X.

The Indian Youth Congress also joined the online discussion. Sharing a close-up image of the portrait, the organisation wrote, “Guess Who?” in what many viewed as a sarcastic remark about the sketch.

Several users compared the artwork to the comic paintings associated with the fictional “Majnu Bhai” character from the Bollywood film Welcome.

One X user wrote, “Majnu Bhai would be proud… Bihar construction company director met CM Samrat Chaudhary and gifted him this portrait masterpiece with full confidence… then proudly posted all 4 photos on social media.”

The same user further added, “But after people started roasting the sketch online, the director quietly deleted the 4th photo containing the portrait while keeping the other 3 pictures up.”

Another user commented, “This at least proves Samrat Chaudhary is more tolerant than he appears.”

One more post read, “PAINTING: Whatever this man gifted to Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary, it certainly cannot be called a painting. Bihar CM Samrat Chaudhary is a kind man, that’s why this man confidently presented this bizarre artwork and still managed to walk away safely.”

Other Videos Also Surface Online

Alongside the portrait controversy, users also circulated other social media videos allegedly linked to the builder. One reel showed him entering a room while smoking, surrounded by people believed to be his staff members.

The clips further fueled online discussions around the viral incident.

Samrat Choudhary Became Bihar CM Last Month

Samrat Choudhary took oath as the 24th Chief Minister of Bihar last month. He became the first Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader to hold the top post in the state.

Governor Syed Ata Hasnain administered the oath at Lok Bhawan in Patna. Several senior leaders attended the ceremony, including JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar, Union minister JP Nadda, and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan.

Nitish Kumar stepped down as chief minister a day earlier after becoming a Rajya Sabha member.
