Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and TVK chief Vijay met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday in their first official meeting since the new government took charge in the state earlier this month.

The meeting marked an important political development as Vijay, who recently became Tamil Nadu chief minister, held formal discussions with the Prime Minister for the first time after assuming office.

The Prime Minister’s Office shared details of the meeting on X and posted, “Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru @actorvijay met Prime Minister @narendramodi today.”

According to reports, the meeting between Vijay and Modi lasted for around 30 minutes.
