Bahrain strongly condemned a new wave of Iranian missile attacks targeting its territory and neighbouring Kuwait on Saturday. Bahraini authorities said both countries successfully intercepted and destroyed seven missiles launched by Iran.
In an official statement, Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused Iran of violating the sovereignty of Bahrain and Kuwait. The ministry described the missile launches as a serious act of aggression. "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the renewed attacks by the Islamic Republic of Iran against the Kingdom of Bahrain and the sisterly State of Kuwait," the statement said.

The Bahraini government said the missile strikes violated international law and breached the territorial sovereignty of both Gulf nations. Officials described the attacks as a "blatant aggression" and warned that such actions threaten regional peace and security. The diplomatic protest came amid rising tensions between Iran and the United States across the Middle East.
Missile Interceptions Reported Over Bahrain and Kuwait
Reports of missile interceptions over Bahraini and Kuwaiti airspace triggered the latest diplomatic fallout. US Military Intercepts Iranian Drones Over Strait of Hormuz
The United States military confirmed that its forces intercepted several Iranian drones and missiles targeting Gulf nations and key maritime routes. CENTCOM Launches Retaliatory Strikes on Iranian Radar Sites
CENTCOM said the drones posed a threat to commercial shipping moving through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's busiest maritime trade routes. In response, US forces launched strikes on Iranian coastal surveillance radar facilities located in Goruk and on Qeshm Island. The military said the operation aimed to prevent further attacks against commercial vessels and regional targets.
Iran Fires Seven Ballistic Missiles Towards Gulf States

The US military said no American personnel were injured during the attacks.
US Denies Iranian Claims About Fifth Fleet Headquarters
CENTCOM rejected Iranian claims that its missile strikes successfully hit the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. The command described those claims as completely false. US officials said the attacks caused no casualties among American forces stationed in the region.
Rising Gulf Tensions Raise Regional Security Concerns
