Taylor Swift has changed her hairstyle once again as she celebrates another major career achievement. The singer recently showed off a fresh, shorter haircut while bringing back some of the natural curls associated with her early years. The new look comes as Swift continues to dominate the music charts in the United Kingdom. She reached the top of the UK charts with the re-release of her 12th album,
The Life of a Showgirl.
The extended edition is titled
The Encore and includes four additional songs. The collection also features Swift’s latest single, “Patient Zero.” On October 2, Swift appeared in an Instagram post shared by her record label, Universal Music Group. The post highlighted her latest success on the UK charts.
“Taylor Swift scores her fifth Official Chart Double as #PatientZero and
The Life Of A Showgirl: The Encore top the UK charts simultaneously,” the caption began. “Taylor’s also the only artist to have clinched three Number 1 singles in 2026 so far.”
Taylor Swift Shows Off a Fresh Curly Look
In the photo, Swift appeared with dirty blonde hair that was slightly shorter than the lob she wore during the MTV Video Music Awards. Her latest haircut reached around her chin and featured soft, loose curls. She styled the look with a maroon sweater, a black belt, and khaki trousers.
Swift completed the outfit with her familiar beauty look. She wore a bold red lip and winged eyeliner. The hairstyle marks another change for the singer after she spent a long period wearing her hair longer. In August, Swift surprised fans by debuting a shoulder-length bob while attending the wedding of Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk. Photos from the Gloucestershire, England, ceremony showed Swift spending time with other guests. The pictures were obtained by Deuxmoi.
Swift Has a Natural Connection With Curly Hair
Although Swift often appears with straightened hair, her natural hair is actually curly. Her signature ringlets were especially noticeable during the early years of her career. Her natural curls appeared on the covers of her first three albums. This included her self-titled debut album,
Taylor Swift, which was released in 2006.
Swift has previously spoken about how her hair texture changed as she grew older. In a 2019 interview with
Elle, she revealed that her naturally curly hair gradually became straight. “From birth, I had the curliest hair and now it is STRAIGHT. It’s the straight hair I wished for every day in junior high
