ARMYs are overjoyed. BTS is finally back together after each member completed their military service. Now, the group has exciting plans for the future, including a new album and a world tour. Meanwhile, one of their older songs is making headlines again.
'Home' Hits No. 1 for the First Time
BTS’s song Home has made a big comeback on the charts. The track originally came out in April 2019 as part of their EP Map of the Soul: Persona. Now, six years later, Home has reached No. 1 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart for the very first time.
This is a major milestone for BTS. It marks their 38th No. 1 hit on this chart—more than any other artist in the world.
A Song That Speaks to Fans
Home blends pop and R&B and features lyrics that touch hearts. RM, J-Hope, and Suga co-wrote the song with ADORA, Bobby Chung, Julia Ross, Krysta Youngs, Pdogg, and others. The lyrics talk about how the group feels their fans are like “home” to them—a place to return to when they feel lonely or exhausted.
Recently, BTS fans in the U.S. have been streaming and downloading Home in large numbers. This renewed interest shows the deep love and support they continue to have for the group, especially after their reunion.
BTS Albums Still Charting
Although Home is currently the only BTS song on the Billboard U.S. charts, their albums are also doing well. Their 2022 anthology album Proof sits at No. 9 on the World Albums chart. Additionally, Map of the Soul: 7 from 2020 is ranked at No. 24. With the group’s renewed activity, fans expect these numbers to climb again.
Comeback Plans: Album in 2026 and World Tour
Recently, BTS appeared live on Weverse, sitting together for the first time since 2022. They shared a special message with fans and revealed big news. Their new group album will be released in Spring 2026, sometime between March and May. After that, they plan to launch a new world tour.
Though fans must wait almost a year for the new music, BTS has something planned in the meantime.
First Live Album Drops This July
On July 18, BTS will release their first-ever live album titled Permission to Dance on Stage Live. The album will include performances from their Permission to Dance tour, giving fans something to celebrate while they await the new era.
