Elon Musk met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the US, and he was accompanied by his partner Shivon Zilis and their children—twins Azure and Strider, as well as X, Musk’s child with his ex-partner Grimes. The meeting took place at Blair House in Washington. Notably, this is Shivon Zilis' second public appearance with Musk in the past six months. She works at Musk’s company, Neuralink, and has kept a low profile until now.

Who is Shivon Zilis?

Shivon Zilis, 39, was born in Canada and graduated from Yale University. Her mother is Indian, and her father is Canadian. Zilis currently serves as the director of operations at Neuralink. Previously, she worked at Tesla from 2017 to 2019 and advised Sam Altman's OpenAI. Additionally, she led investments at Bloomberg Beta. In 2015, Forbes included her in their 30 Under 30 list for venture capital. Zilis and Musk have two children, Azure and Strider, born in 2021, and a third child in 2024. Although they have never publicly confirmed their relationship, reports suggest Zilis now lives at Musk’s Texas compound.

In November 2024, the couple appeared together at a gala hosted at Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate. However, Zilis stayed in the background while Musk posed with their daughter, Azure.

Modi and Musk Discuss Key Topics

Prime Minister Modi met Musk just hours before his scheduled meeting with President Trump at the White House. The two leaders engaged in discussions on critical topics such as space exploration, technology, innovation, and mobility. Moreover, they focused on strengthening collaboration between India and the US in AI, sustainable development, and entrepreneurship.

Following the meeting, PM Modi gifted Musk’s children three books: The Crescent Moon by Tagore, The Great RK Narayan Collection, and Panchatantra. Modi shared pictures of Musk’s children reading the books on X, expressing, “It was also a delight to meet Mr. Elon Musk’s family and talk about a wide range of subjects.”
