Jamshedpur FC secured a 2-0 victory over Mohammedan SC in the Indian Super League 2024-25 season. The match took place at Kishore Bharati Krirangan on Thursday. As a result, they completed a league double and moved to 37 points from 21 matches. Now, they trail second-placed FC Goa by just two points, though Goa still has a game in hand.
Jamshedpur FC Takes Early Lead

Although the initial effort was blocked, Javi Hernandez tried to convert the rebound. Yet again, defenders deflected the shot. Finally, Ritwik Das seized the opportunity and slotted the ball into the bottom left corner, putting Jamshedpur in control.

Despite Mohammedan SC’s defensive efforts, Jamshedpur FC did not slow down. In the 82nd minute, they finally doubled their lead. Imran Khan spotted Nikhil Barla inside the box and delivered a precise pass. Barla controlled the ball well and smashed it into the net, sealing the victory.
