Teaser Highlights an Epic Transformation

The teaser, released on Saturday, introduces Thinnadu, a fearless warrior. As he faces war’s brutality and the loss of his soldiers, he begins to question his faith. Eventually, his journey leads him to become a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. Moreover, the teaser, over a minute long, showcases Vishnu Manchu as Thinnadu. Additionally, Akshay Kumar appears as Lord Shiva, and Kajal Aggarwal plays Goddess Parvati. Furthermore, Mohanlal makes a striking entrance as Kirata, while Prabhas emerges in the final moments as Rudra. The teaser features a gripping background score, intense action, and powerful dialogues, setting the stage for an epic experience.

Earlier, the film was presented to the media in Mumbai. "Kannappa" is a mythological drama based on the legendary tale of Bhakta Kannappa, a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. Notably, Vishnu Manchu plays the titular role, while Mohanlal and Prabhas portray key characters. Additionally, Akshay Kumar plays Lord Shiva, and Kajal Aggarwal takes on the role of Goddess Parvati. Produced by M. Mohan Babu, the film had a special screening at the Cannes Film Festival in 2024. Ultimately, it is set to release in theaters on April 25, 2025.
