The Indian Super League (ISL) has officially revealed the 2024-25 Playoff schedule. The League stage will conclude on March 12, 2025. Shortly after, the Knockout matches will take place on March 29 and 30. Following that, the semi-finals will be played over two legs on April 2-3 and April 6-7. Finally, the much-awaited Final will happen on April 12, 2025.
Mohun Bagan Super Giant Creates History
Mohun Bagan Super Giant has made history by winning the League Shield for the second consecutive season. As a result, they became the first team in ISL history to achieve this feat. Meanwhile, five other teams—FC Goa, Bengaluru FC, NorthEast United FC, Jamshedpur FC, and Mumbai City FC—have secured their places in the Playoffs.
Playoff Format
The Playoffs will follow a knockout and semi-final format. To begin with, the teams ranked third to sixth will compete in single-leg Knockout matches. After that, the winners will advance to the semi-finals, where they will face Mohun Bagan Super Giant and FC Goa, who have already secured their spots. Moreover, the semi-finals will follow a home-and-away format. Ultimately, the higher-ranked team in the League standings will host the Final.
