Security Concerns Raised

Furthermore, AAP MP Sanjay Singh demanded accountability for the attack. He emphasized, “The entire nation is angry, sad, and the nation wants the central government to give a befitting reply to the terrorists in their language. The way they have killed innocent people, their camps should be destroyed, and action should also be taken against Pakistan...We have demanded that accountability needs to be fixed and action should be taken as to why there was a security lapse.”
Government's Response
In addition, Kiren Rijiju shared that the Defence Minister briefed the leaders about the incident and the government’s response.
Details of the Pahalgam Attack
On Tuesday, terrorists killed 26 people, mostly tourists, in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. As a result, India took punitive actions against Pakistan, including suspending the Indus Waters Treaty.
Moreover, India revoked the visas of Pakistani nationals, effective April 27, and ordered them to leave the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a stern warning to the perpetrators. He said, “India will relentlessly pursue every terrorist and their supporters.”
