Player of the Match: Krunal Pandya
Abhishek Porel gave Delhi Capitals a flying start, but Josh Hazlewood and Yash Dayal bowled well and provided early breakthroughs for RCB. Then, the spinners came in and slowed down the scoring rate. This tactic worked, and as a result, Delhi Capitals lost wickets at regular intervals. KL Rahul played well under pressure, but his contribution was not enough. Bhuvneshwar and Hazlewood picked up wickets regularly for RCB and did not allow any batsman to settle. Tristan Stubbs played a blazing knock that helped Delhi Capitals post a respectable total on the board.
When RCB came to chase the target, they also lost early wickets, and the match seemed under Delhi Capitals' control. However, the chase master Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya played superb innings and ensured RCB's victory. Kohli did not stay till the end, but Tim David completed the task with his fiery and short innings. Stay tuned with JUSZNEWS for regular updates!
