India Denies Pakistan’s Claim of Destroying S-400 System
India called Pakistan’s claim of destroying its S-400 air defence system with hypersonic missiles “false” and denied any such attack.

India has strongly denied Pakistan's claim about destroying its advanced air defence system. On Saturday, an Indian military official dismissed the report, calling it "false."

Pakistan Media Reported Missile Strike

Earlier, Pakistan's state-owned TV channel PTV claimed that the Pakistan Air Force fired hypersonic missiles from its JF-17 fighter jets. It said the missiles destroyed India’s S-400 air defence system stationed in Adampur, Punjab.

Chinese Media Repeated Pakistan's Claim

Soon after, China's official news agency Xinhua, through the Global Times, echoed the same claim. It reported that the JF-17 Thunder jet had taken down the S-400 system in Indian Punjab.

Indian Air Force Rejects Reports

In response, the Indian Air Force spokesperson said the reports were baseless. The spokesperson clarified that the claim was completely false.
