The tragic Air India plane crash on June 12 deeply shocked the entire country. Since the incident, news of emergency landings and mayday calls has added to public concern about air travel. Actress Raashii Khanna, who frequently travels by air, admitted she now finds flying stressful and frightening. What once gave her a sense of escape now feels suffocating.
Every Flight Feels Heavier Now
On Instagram, Raashii shared several photos from an airport just before boarding a flight. She wrote, “There’s so much unrest in the world… Every flight feels heavier now—not just because of the skies, but because of the headlines we carry with us. Travel used to be an escape. Lately, it feels like holding your breath. Anyone else feeling this travel anxiety too?"

Her post immediately drew support from fans. One follower replied, “May Lord Bholenath give you strength from within to face different hurdles in life, including anxiety, as always, everywhere you go! Har Har Mahadev.”
Another wrote, “Please do not get worried or anxious @raashiikhanna. Your good karma, Lord Shiv ji whom you pray to, and prayers from your well-wishers—like your family, friends, and me—are always with you! Jai Bholenath.”
A third added, “Why are you feeling stressed yaar? Everything is fine.”
Reflections on Language and Her Acting Journey
Recently, Raashii spoke in an interview about her experience working in the South Indian film industry. She mentioned the challenges South Indian audiences face while learning Hindi.
“Some South Indians told me how difficult Hindi is. They are unable to understand the genders in the language. They just gave up on Hindi. At that time, I understood that humari bhi bhasha thodi mushkil hai (Our language is a little difficult),” she said, showing empathy and cultural understanding.
Upcoming Film Project
Professionally, Raashii was last seen in the Tamil film Aghathiyaa, co-starring Arjun Sarja and Jiiva. Her next project is Telusu Kada, a romantic drama directed by celebrity stylist Neeraja Kona, who makes her directorial debut with this film.
Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, Telusu Kada also stars Siddu Jonnalagadda, Srinidhi Shetty, and Viva Harsha. The film revolves around friendship, family, sacrifice, and self-love.
