Miley Cyrus has openly called herself Beyoncé’s biggest fan. The 32-year-old American singer praised Queen Bey as a “top-tier” artist. This appreciation came just weeks after Miley performed a duet with Beyoncé at the Cowboy Carter Tour concert in Paris on June 16. Together, they sang their collaborative track, “II Most Wanted.”
Miley Praises Beyoncé’s Talent and Stage Presence
In a recent interview with Chris Olsen on SiriusXM’s TikTok Radio, Miley spoke about her admiration for Beyoncé. She compared seeing Beyoncé perform live to witnessing legendary artists like Michael Jackson or Prince. Miley said, “Getting to see her show live, it feels like a moment of where, you know, you talk to someone about getting to see, you know, Prince or someone that’s the best of the best, Michael Jackson.”
Beyoncé Is Graceful and Confident, Says Miley
Miley shared that Beyoncé’s personality is just as impressive off stage as it is on stage. Describing her as graceful and confident, Miley said, “I think that she deserves to kind of have this queen essence surrounding her constantly, just because I do think it’s so fluid between both of her worlds and between the persona and personally, it’s always been really well integrated.” Miley added that Beyoncé’s on-stage persona is simply “an elevated, kind of eccentric version" of her real self.
Childhood Memories of Destiny’s Child
Miley also revealed how she first became a fan of Beyoncé. She recalled receiving a karaoke machine from her grandfather during her elementary school days. One of the songs pre-loaded on the machine was Destiny’s Child’s hit song “Survivor.” Miley said this moment helped shape her early love for music. She also remembered singing along to Blondie’s “The Tide Is High” and other songs, saying these experiences influenced who she became.
