Ahaan Panday’s Debut Film Saiyaara Enters ₹300 Crore Club Worldwide
Mohit Suri's Saiyaara crosses ₹300 crore worldwide, becoming the second highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025 after strong box office growth.

Just a day after becoming the second highest-grossing Hindi movie of 2025, Saiyaara has reached a major milestone. The romantic drama, directed by Mohit Suri and starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has now earned more than ₹300 crore worldwide. On its second Sunday, the film added another ₹30 crore to its domestic total. By Saturday, Saiyaara had already collected ₹280 crore globally.

Strong Numbers at the Indian Box Office

On day 10, the film earned ₹30 crore in India, showing growth from Saturday’s ₹26.5 crore. This jump brought excitement among fans and trade analysts alike. The film had not crossed ₹30 crore in a single day since the previous Sunday (day 3), when it made ₹35.75 crore—up from ₹26 crore on Saturday (day 2).

According to Sacnilk, Saiyaara has now made ₹247.25 crore in India. These numbers have pushed it ahead of several big-budget films. It has overtaken:

  • Housefull 5 starring Akshay Kumar (₹198.41 crore)

  • Raid 2 with Ajay Devgn (₹179.30 crore)

  • Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par (₹165.85 crore)

Second Biggest Hindi Film of the Year So Far

At the moment, Saiyaara is only behind Chaava, Laxman Utekar’s period action film starring Vicky Kaushal. Chaava has collected a massive ₹615.39 crore. Although Saiyaara still has a long way to go to catch up, it remains a top performer.

However, the film might face stiff competition soon. Two major releases—Son of Sardaar 2 (Ajay Devgn) and Dhadak 2 (Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri)—are set to hit theatres this Friday. Their arrival could slow down Saiyaara’s box office run.

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda’s Big Launch

Saiyaara marks the big-screen debut of Ahaan Panday, cousin of Ananya Panday and nephew of Chunky Panday. Aneet Padda, who gained attention through the Amazon Prime Video series Big Girls Don’t Cry, appears as the lead actress for the first time.

The film features a supporting cast of Geeta Agarwal, Rajesh Kumar, Varun Badola, and Shaad Randhawa.

About the Film and Its Production

Produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films (YRF), Saiyaara is also special as it marks the producing debut of YRF CEO Akshaye Widhani. The film’s official description reads: “Passionate lovers navigate a rollercoaster romance, facing euphoric highs and crushing lows while desperately clinging to their tumultuous bond.”
