KG Crown and JYP America Settle Differences, End Legal Battle
KG Crown and JYP America have ended their dispute as she leaves VCHA, with both sides wishing each other well for the future.

The ongoing conflict between singer KG Crown and her agency, JYP America, has officially ended. Both sides described the decision as mutual. Fans had followed the drama closely, which started when KG Crown filed a lawsuit to leave her group VCHA. She also publicly accused the agency of mistreatment, while JYP America denied the claims. Now, KG Crown has quietly closed this chapter with a short Instagram post.

KG Crown Announces Parting

On August 8, KG Crown posted a statement on Instagram saying, “JYP America and KG Crown have mutually agreed to part ways as she concludes her journey with VCHA. Both parties sincerely wish each other all the best in their future endeavours. Thank you.” She did not mention the lawsuit or the previous disputes, leaving many fans curious.

What Started the Controversy

The issue began last year when KG Crown said she experienced mistreatment while working with JYP America. She complained about the staff and work environment, saying conditions were far from ideal. She also raised concerns about her low pay compared to the effort she put in.

Determined to take control of her career, KG Crown filed a lawsuit to end her contract. This news quickly spread throughout the K-pop community. JYP America denied all the accusations, and both sides stuck to their stories.

Lawsuit Status Remains Unclear

Since KG Crown’s recent announcement, it is not clear what happened to the lawsuit. There has been no official word, but the latest message hints that the dispute may have been settled privately or that the lawsuit was dropped. It seems the agency and KG Crown talked directly and resolved their differences.

More Changes at VCHA

KG Crown’s exit was not the only loss for the group VCHA. In July, another member, Kaylee, left both the group and JYP America after a long break. The remaining members — Camila, Lexi, Kendall, and Savanna — will no longer perform under the VCHA name. Instead, they plan to promote as a new group called GIRLSET.

KG Crown’s Future Plans

KG Crown has not announced her next step. However, she previously shared her interest in focusing on songwriting and music production. Fans may soon see her take on a new role in the music industry beyond performing.
