Japanese PM Praises Trump’s Role in Peace Deals

At the Akasaka Palace, Prime Minister Takaichi praised Trump for his efforts to secure peace in different regions. She said, “Mr. President succeeded in securing a ceasefire deal between Thailand and Cambodia... also, the deal you have recently achieved in the Middle East is an unprecedented, historic achievement.”

Japan remains one of America’s strongest allies in Asia. During the meeting, both leaders signed a critical minerals and rare earth agreement to strengthen their strategic partnership.

Trump Calls Himself ‘President of Peace’

Trump has often described himself as the ‘President of Peace.’ He claims he helped end eight wars, including conflicts in Gaza, India-Pakistan, and Thailand-Cambodia.

Although Trump did not win the Nobel Peace Prize this year, countries like Israel, Pakistan, Cambodia, and Thailand have already supported or nominated him for the honor.

Trump’s Asia Tour Continues

Trump began his five-day Asia visit in Malaysia. There, he attended the ASEAN summit and helped broker a peace agreement between Thailand and Cambodia.

After Japan, Trump will fly to South Korea on Wednesday. He will attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit and hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Their meeting will focus on easing trade tensions between Washington and Beijing.
