Modi wrote on X, “Had a very warm and engaging conversation with President Trump. We reviewed the progress in our bilateral relations and discussed regional and international developments. India and the US will continue to work together for global peace, stability and prosperity.”

Focus on Expanding Strategic Cooperation

People familiar with the discussion said the two leaders shared views on strengthening collaboration in trade, critical technologies, energy, defence and security. They also agreed to work closely to tackle common challenges and advance shared interests.

Officials noted that the conversation highlighted the steady progress in the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the pace of cooperation across all major sectors.

Modi and Trump underlined the importance of maintaining the pace of joint efforts. They agreed to remain in touch as both countries continue to collaborate on regional and global issues.
