As the West Asia conflict entered its fifth day, India moved quickly to protect its citizens. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) set up a special control room to track the fast-changing situation across West Asia and the Gulf. The ministry also shared emergency helpline numbers for Indians living in or travelling through affected countries.
MEA Sets Up Control Room
The control room will function daily from 9 am to 9 pm. Officials will monitor developments and respond to distress calls from Indian nationals.

India Expands Citizen Support
India stepped up its assistance as tensions continued to rise across West Asia. The government strengthened its response system to ensure quick help for Indians facing emergencies.
Officials said they are closely monitoring the conflict and stand ready to provide support wherever required.
