Aké Loba scored twice, while Dani Ramírez, PV Vishnu and Lukasz Zwolinski also found the net to secure a convincing victory for the Torchbearers. The defending champions started strongly and took control of the match early. Ramírez opened the scoring in the eighth minute before Vishnu doubled the lead eight minutes later. However, East Bengal maintained their attacking pressure and went into the break with a comfortable three-goal advantage.

Dani Ramírez and PV Vishnu Give East Bengal an Early Lead

East Bengal took the lead in the eighth minute through Ramírez, who continued his impressive form. The midfielder received the ball on the right side of the penalty area and chipped it over Inter Kashi goalkeeper Albino Gomes to make it 1-0. The Torchbearers doubled their advantage in the 16th minute with a quick counterattack. Loba set up Vishnu, who finished the move with a left-footed shot into the bottom-left corner. East Bengal continued to put pressure on the opposition defence and earned a penalty in the 22nd minute. Inter Kashi defender Wayne Vaz brought down Ramírez inside the box, prompting the referee to award a spot-kick. Loba stepped up and confidently converted the penalty with a right-footed shot into the top-right corner. The goal marked his first of the season and gave East Bengal a 3-0 advantage.

Aké Loba Completes His Brace Before Half-Time

Inter Kashi found a way back into the contest in the 28th minute when East Bengal defender Lalchungnunga scored an own goal. The unfortunate incident reduced the deficit to 3-1 and offered the visitors a brief chance to recover. However, East Bengal continued to attack and did not allow Inter Kashi to build momentum. Loba scored his second goal of the match before half-time, extending the Torchbearers' lead to 4-1. His brace capped an impressive first-half performance from East Bengal, who controlled the contest with effective attacking moves and clinical finishing.

East Bengal Manage the Game After the Break

With a comfortable lead, East Bengal head coach Habas made several changes at the start of the second half. Rashid, Loba and Vipin Singh came off the pitch as the coach looked to protect key players from potential injuries and give younger squad members valuable playing time. East Bengal shifted to a more controlled approach after the substitutions. They focused on retaining possession and avoided taking unnecessary risks while protecting their three-goal advantage. Inter Kashi increased their attacking efforts and pressed forward in search of another goal. However, East Bengal maintained their defensive discipline and continued to limit the visitors' opportunities.

Lukasz Zwolinski Seals the 5-1 Victory

East Bengal added a fifth goal in the 81st minute through substitute Lukasz Zwolinski. Christopher Ikonomidis provided the assist, setting up the forward for a close-range finish. Zwolinski struck a left-footed shot into the bottom-left corner to score his first goal for East Bengal FC in the MG ISL. His late effort completed a comprehensive 5-1 victory for the Torchbearers. East Bengal's attacking strength and early control proved decisive in Pune. Loba's brace, combined with goals from Ramírez, Vishnu and Zwolinski, ensured that the defending champions secured a convincing win over Inter Kashi.
