Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Warns US and Israel Against Fresh Attacks, Orders Immediate Military Response
Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has warned the US and Israel against fresh military strikes, ordering Iran's armed forces to prepare an immediate and widespread response to any renewed attack.
Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has issued a fresh warning to the United States and Israel against launching another military operation against Iran. He has instructed the country's armed forces to remain prepared and respond immediately to any new attack. In a written statement published on his official website on Saturday, Khamenei said Iran's military and people would decide when and under what conditions any conflict initiated by its enemies would end. "If the enemies once again launch military or terrorist attacks, it is the armed forces of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation that will determine the time and conditions for ending them," the statement attributed to Khamenei said. His warning came after Iran's military cautioned Washington against carrying out fresh strikes. Iranian officials said another US attack could expand the ongoing conflict across a much wider region of West Asia. The latest remarks also come amid growing threats of renewed military action by Iran's adversaries. Meanwhile, diplomatic efforts continue to prevent another escalation and bring stability to the region.

Mojtaba Khamenei Holds Talks With Senior Military Commanders

Mojtaba Khamenei has not appeared publicly since he assumed Iran's supreme leadership following the death of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. US-Israeli strikes killed his father at the beginning of the Middle East war in February. According to Saturday's statement, the new supreme leader met senior military commanders and directed them to prepare for any possible threat. Khamenei instructed the commanders to ensure that "any level or type of threat must be met with an immediate, impactful and geographically unrestricted response". He also called for an expansion of Iran's military target list. The statement said he directed commanders to include "all types of tangible and intangible assets belonging to the American-Zionist enemy". These instructions signal Tehran's readiness to respond to potential attacks without limiting its military response to a particular geographical area.
## Iran-US-Israel War Began With February 28 Strikes The latest warning comes against the backdrop of the war that began on February 28, when the United States and Israel launched military strikes against Iran. Tehran quickly retaliated by carrying out attacks on several countries across the region, widening the conflict in West Asia. Since then, tensions have remained high, with concerns growing over the possibility of another round of military confrontation. Iran's latest warning reflects its opposition to further attacks and its readiness to retaliate if the United States or Israel resumes military operations.

Qatar Delegation Arrives in Tehran Amid Fresh Diplomatic Efforts

Khamenei's statement came as diplomatic efforts continued to prevent the conflict from restarting. A Qatari delegation arrived in Tehran on Friday to hold discussions with Iranian officials. The visit followed reports that Iran had received a letter from US Vice President JD Vance. However, Iranian media reported that Tehran had not yet responded to the communication. The diplomatic engagement comes at a critical time, as regional countries attempt to prevent further escalation. Despite these efforts, Khamenei's latest warning indicates that Iran's military remains on alert for possible fresh attacks from the United States and Israel.
