Indian Railways has introduced a new Amrit Bharat Express train between Rajendra Nagar Terminal in Patna and New Delhi. Officials from the North Central Railway confirmed that this train will pass through Subedarganj station in Prayagraj.
First Journey on July 18
The inaugural journey of this train, numbered 03261, will begin on July 18. It will depart from Rajendra Nagar Terminal at 11:45 am, reach Subedarganj station by 18:15 pm, and arrive in New Delhi at 04.00 am.
Train to Offer Comfortable Travel
This train is part of the Amrit Bharat Express series, designed to offer passengers a better and more comfortable travel experience. It will include 11 general class coaches, 8 sleeper coaches, and a pantry car. According to railway officials, the train will also provide modern facilities for passengers.
Daily Service From July 31
Regular daily services will start soon. Train No. 22361 will operate daily from Rajendra Nagar Terminal beginning July 31. Meanwhile, Train No. 22362 will start daily services from New Delhi from August 1.
Why It Matters
This new train service is expected to improve connectivity between Patna and Delhi, especially benefiting travellers passing through Prayagraj.
