Al Nassr Crush FC Goa 4-0 in AFC Champions League Two Clash
Al Nassr thrashed FC Goa 4-0 in Riyadh, handing the Indian club their fourth straight loss in the AFC Champions League Two 2025-26.

FC Goa endured a tough night as they suffered a 0-4 defeat against Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr in their fourth AFC Champions League Two 2025-26 group match. The clash took place at the King Saud University Stadium in Riyadh on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.

Al Nassr Take Early Control

Al Nassr head coach Jorge Jesus continued his rotation strategy, giving starts to Harouane Camara and Mohammed Marran. Goa’s head coach Manolo Márquez made three changes from the side that lost 2-1 in the previous fixture.

Goa began with a compact defense, making it hard for Al Nassr to break through. The home side’s first major chance came in the 20th minute when Wesley dribbled into the box but shot wide of the far post.

Ghareeb’s Stunning Free-Kick Opens the Scoring

The breakthrough came in the 35th minute. Abdulrahman Ghareeb curled a stunning free-kick that hit the underside of the crossbar before landing in the net, leaving Goa goalkeeper Hrithik Tiwari rooted to his spot.

Three minutes later, Al Nassr missed another chance to double the lead when Ali Alhassan fired over the bar after a good run by Nawaf Bu Washl down the right. The hosts went into halftime with a one-goal lead.

Second-Half Dominance

Al Nassr continued their strong performance after the break. In the 53rd minute, Ghareeb struck again. He latched onto Alhassan’s through pass and calmly slotted the ball past Tiwari to make it 2-0.

FC Goa came close to scoring in the 63rd minute. Dejan Dražić broke the offside trap and fired a low shot toward the bottom corner, but goalkeeper Raghid Najjar produced an excellent save.

The miss proved costly for Goa. Just two minutes later, Bu Washl’s low cross from the right found Marran, who flicked the ball into the net to extend Al Nassr’s lead to 3-0.

Félix and Mané Combine for Fourth

In the 84th minute, Al Nassr added a fourth goal in style. Substitutes João Félix and Sadio Mané combined beautifully, with Félix finishing Mané’s cross using a stunning overhead kick. The goal sealed a dominant 4-0 win for the Saudi Arabian side.

Goa Stay Bottom of the Group

The defeat left FC Goa rooted at the bottom of Group D with no points from four matches. The Gaurs will next face Al Zawraa SC of Iraq in Baghdad on November 26.
