During their conversation, Prime Minister Modi focused on strengthening India-US relations, innovation, and biotechnology with Ramaswamy. According to Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal, “PM @narendramodi met with @VivekGRamaswamy at Blair House today. Ramaswamy's Political Journey
Ramaswamy had previously run for president but later withdrew from the race. He gained attention for his bold debate performances. After ending his presidential bid, he threw his support behind Donald Trump, calling him the "best president of the 21st century."
Moreover, Ramaswamy co-led the US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with Elon Musk but eventually stepped down due to reported differences with the Tesla CEO.
