India. They later secured a bonus point by winning the shootout 2-1 in Women's FIH Pro League.

The deadlock finally broke in the 40th minute when Paige Gillott scored her first international goal. Her brilliant deflection from a penalty corner gave England a 1-0 lead.
India responded in the 53rd minute. Navneet Kaur converted a penalty stroke, making it 1-1 and setting up an exciting finale. Just three minutes later, Tessa Howard put England ahead again with a well-timed sliding deflection from another penalty corner.
India Fights Back to Force a Shootout
India reacted immediately by pulling their goalkeeper off the field for an extra outfield player. This decision paid off when Rutaja Dadaso Pisal broke past England’s defense and leveled the score at 2-2.
With just 18 seconds left, England earned a final penalty corner. However, India’s defense held firm, sending the match into a shootout. Despite a slow start, England kept their composure and secured a 2-1 victory in the tie-breaker.

Paige Gillott, who was named player of the match, expressed her happiness with the team's resilience. She said, “I’m just really proud of how the team pulled together today. We were disappointed to lose yesterday in the dying minutes.”
