Police in Norway reported an explosion close to the United States embassy in the capital city early Sunday morning. Authorities confirmed that no one was injured in the incident.

The blast took place around 1 am local time (0000 GMT), according to a statement issued by the Oslo Police District. Officials said investigators were still trying to determine what caused the explosion.
