Vivian Wilson Breaks Silence on Musk, Family, and Independence
Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, speaks out about her family, independence, and lack of connection with her father, while Musk controversially blames transgender individuals for attacking Teslas.

Vivian Wilson, Elon Musk’s transgender daughter, admitted that she doesn’t know how many siblings she has. This revelation followed Ashley St. Clair’s claims that Musk had secretly fathered another child.

Meanwhile, Musk claimed that transgender individuals were attacking Teslas. His statement came just as a report about his estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, made headlines.

Vivian Opens Up About Fame and Family

During an interview with Teen Vogue, Vivian reflected on her public image. “I don’t like saying that I’m famous because I want to do something more to deserve that fame,” she said. When asked about her family, she responded, “I do not actually know how many siblings I have.”

Notably, writer and comedian Ella Yurman helped arrange the interview. Explaining their choice, Teen Vogue editor-in-chief Versha Sharma said, “We saw her TikToks and followed her online. She has a strong, interesting, and funny voice.”

Vivian Criticizes Musk

Later in the conversation, Vivian made it clear she wanted no association with Musk. “I don't give a f**k about him. I really don't. It's annoying that people associate me with him. I just don't have any room to care anymore,” she said.

Earlier this year, she also criticized Musk’s hand gestures at a Trump event. Addressing the controversy, she stated, “Honey, we’re going to call a fig a fig, and we’re going to call a Nazi salute what it was.”

Vivian’s Independence and Strained Relationship with Musk

Vivian further revealed she has been financially independent since 2020. More importantly, she confirmed she has no relationship with Musk. According to her, he was “not as supportive as my mom” during her transition.

Speaking about fear-based narratives, she stated, “People thrive off of fear. I’m not giving anyone that space in my mind.” She also rejected claims that she influenced Musk’s political shift. “That’s not what that does to people. Him going further on the right is not because of me. That’s insane.”

Teen Vogue’s Perspective on the Interview

Sharma acknowledged that the story might spark strong reactions. However, she emphasized that they wanted the focus to remain on Vivian. “We knew there could be backlash, but we wanted the story to focus on Vivian, not just her father,” she explained.

The interview took place over Zoom, with Vivian joining from Japan.

Before concluding, Sharma reaffirmed Teen Vogue’s commitment to supporting marginalized communities. “We want to be a resource for trans youth and others who feel targeted,” she said.
