Yadwad has had a breakthrough season with Chennaiyin FC. He has been a consistent performer throughout the year. In March, he featured in both of the team's matches, notably scoring a brace in their 5-2 victory against Jamshedpur FC in the final home game of the season.

Impressive Stats and Skills

The 23-year-old Goa-born forward has netted five goals and provided four assists in the 2024-25 ISL season. In addition to his attacking prowess, Yadwad has impressed with his work rate, ability to win duels, and his defensive recoveries, showcasing his all-around game.

Recognition and Voting Results

This award marks Yadwad’s first Emerging Player of the Month title. It also makes him the first Chennaiyin FC player to receive the honor this season. The majority of the eighteen panel experts voted Yadwad as the standout performer for March. Specifically, eight panelists ranked him first, two placed him second, and four selected him third.

Yadwad clinched the award ahead of Kerala Blasters FC’s Korou Singh and Punjab FC’s Muhammad Suhail, who finished in second and third place, respectively. Singh received three first-place votes, two second-place votes, and two third-place votes. Meanwhile, Suhail earned two first-place votes, along with four votes for second and third places.
