Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei Threatens Harsh Payback After Israeli Bombing
Khamenei warned Israel of a “painful fate” after strikes killed Iranian scientists and hit civilian areas.

Israel launched deadly strikes on Tehran on Friday morning. These attacks hit military and nuclear sites. As a result, several top Iranian military officials and scientists died.

Khamenei Responds Quickly

Soon after the attack, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a strong response. His statement was released through the state-run IRNA news agency.

He said, “Israel opened its wicked and blood-stained hand to a crime in our beloved country, revealing its malicious nature more than ever by striking residential centres.”

Israel Faces a “Painful Fate”

Khamenei accused Israel of not only targeting military sites but also hitting homes. He warned of serious consequences.

He declared, “With this crime, the Zionist regime has set itself up for a bitter and painful fate, and it will receive it.”

What Comes Next?

Iran has not yet revealed how it will respond. However, Khamenei’s words suggest a strong retaliation is coming.
