Ramdev Baba Blames Modern Lifestyle for Declining Health Amid Shefali’s Sudden Death
Ramdev Baba reacts to Shefali Jariwala’s sudden death, stressing the importance of inner health over outward appearance.

The unexpected death of actress and model Shefali Jariwala, best known for her 2002 song Kaanta Laga, has shocked the entertainment industry and her fans. She passed away at the age of 42 on June 27. The Mumbai Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of her death.

As the case unfolds, reports suggest that Shefali may have suffered a heart attack. However, official post-mortem results are still awaited. The police also found anti-ageing pills, skin glow tablets, and vitamin supplements at her home. These findings triggered a wave of discussions and speculations across social media.

Ramdev Baba Compares Human Health to Hardware and Software

Amid the growing debate around Shefali's death and wellness practices, yoga guru Ramdev Baba shared his perspective. Speaking to NDTV, he used a striking analogy to describe the condition of human health in today’s time.

"The hardware was fine, the software was faulty. The symptoms were fine, the system was faulty." With this statement, he implied that external appearance may not reflect the true internal state of health. He emphasized the difference between looking healthy and actually being healthy. “There is a difference in this superficial appearance. Appearing to be one and being one are different,” he said.

Ramdev Highlights Importance of Diet and Lifestyle

During the interview, Ramdev Baba went deeper into the subject of long-term health. He spoke about how human beings are increasingly damaging their vital organs by not living in harmony with nature.

He claimed that the natural human lifespan could ideally range between 150 and 200 years, much more than the commonly assumed 100 years. However, he believes poor lifestyle choices are accelerating the ageing process. “You do not know how to operate yourself. If you keep doing well, then it is true that you will not grow old for 100 years.”

He pointed out that the heart, brain, liver, and eyes are under constant pressure due to modern habits. He also criticized current eating patterns, stating that people are consuming food meant for 100 years within just 25 years.

Doctors Confirm Shefali Was Under Anti-Ageing Treatment

Following Shefali Jariwala’s death, doctors and close sources revealed that she was undergoing anti-ageing treatments, which included medications and injections. Reports also noted that Shefali was fasting on the day she died.

Medical experts now suspect that this combination of medication and fasting may have led to a serious reaction, potentially causing the fatal attack.

Shefali Jariwala’s Career and Legacy

Shefali rose to fame with her appearance in the hit song Kaanta Laga in 2002, which quickly turned her into a household name. Over the years, she continued to remain active in the entertainment industry. She participated in popular shows like:

  • Nach Baliye

  • Bigg Boss 13

She also had a brief role in the 2004 film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, which starred Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, and Priyanka Chopra.

A Wake-Up Call About Modern Wellness Trends

Shefali’s sudden death has sparked a broader conversation about the growing use of anti-ageing treatments, crash diets, and excessive supplement intake. Ramdev Baba’s remarks added to the discussion by urging people to look beyond surface-level health and focus on inner well-being through balanced diet, natural lifestyle, and self-awareness.

As fans await the official autopsy results, many are reflecting on the importance of taking care of one’s health not just externally, but from within.
