Jamshedpur FC easily defeated Mumbai City FC with a 3-0 win at the Mumbai Football Arena in the Indian Super League 2024-25 season. This victory marked Jamshedpur's second league double over Mumbai, repeating their success from the 2018-19 season. As a result, Jamshedpur climbed to third place in the standings, earning 27 points from 14 matches. Immediately, Jamshedpur countered, and Doungel's long pass found Murray, who lobbed the ball over the advancing goalkeeper for the second goal. Finally, Javi Hernandez wrapped up the win in added time by firing a loose ball into the bottom right corner.
