After the success of Bawaal, Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have teamed up once again. This time, they will be seen in a romantic comedy titled Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, directed by Shashank Khaitan. Finally, after many delays, the makers revealed the first look posters and announced a fresh release date.

Arjun Kapoor Celebrates Janhvi’s Look

Meanwhile, Janhvi’s brother Arjun Kapoor took to social media to cheer her on. He shared her poster on his Instagram story and joked, "@janhvikapoor ur blessed by Mr Natkhat Nautanki again!!!! @varundvn". Notably, Janhvi’s first look shows her in a traditional yellow saree and golden blouse. Furthermore, the poster carried a fun caption: “Dikhne main bholi bhaali, Chanchal pyaari… Lekin andar se melodramatic like Meena Kumari!!!"

Similarly, Varun Dhawan’s look was also shared. In the poster, he appears cheerful, greeting with folded hands. His character is named Sunny Sanskari. Additionally, his poster included poetic lines: “Yeh ansoon hain mere, samundar ka jal nahin… Baarish ka kya bharosa, aaj hai…kal nahii!!!"

Makers Announce New Release Date

Moreover, the film’s release date has been shifted. Earlier scheduled for September 12, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari will now hit theatres on October 2, 2025. Consequently, it will face a box office clash with Kantara: A Legend—Chapter 1 and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat.

Strong Star Cast Promises Entertainment

Apart from the lead pair, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Maniesh Paul, Rohit Saraf, and Akshay Oberoi. Together, this ensemble promises a fun romantic comedy for audiences.

Janhvi Kapoor’s Next Release Nears

On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor is also gearing up for Param Sundari, her next film opposite Sidharth Malhotra. That film will release earlier, on August 29.
