Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara has become the biggest romantic hit in Indian cinema, even with newcomers in lead roles. The film crossed ₹500 crore worldwide, creating history at the box office. Despite no big stars, the film's strong emotional storytelling has won hearts globally.
Both lead actors, Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, expressed their deep gratitude to fans and shared personal messages after the success.
Ahaan Panday Pays Tribute to His Grandmother
Sharing photos of himself as Krish Kapoor, Ahaan Panday said on Instagram that he “never thought I would receive so much love.” He emotionally dedicated the film’s success to his late grandmother, saying, “Dadi always used to call me Raj. I wish she could see Krish today.”
He also shared how he used to pray, saying, “Even if the world doesn’t like me, I knew... among the stars, there’s one lone star—my dadi.” He added, “She will look at me from there and smile. This is only for you, dadi.”

He Reflects on Childhood Struggles
Ahaan reflected on his journey by saying, “I promise to work twice as hard, be twice as good, and to do this for you all.” He recalled being the child who was told he “couldn’t do it” and said, “We all have that child in us.”
He told fans, “Thank you for this miracle. I wish I could hug every single one of you,” and closed with, “Tere bina to kuch naa rahenge.”
Aneet Padda Shares Love with Her Fans
Aneet Padda, who played Vaani Batra, also posted stills from the film and wrote a heartfelt message. She began with, “The daze is wearing off, and all I want to say is that I love you. I don’t know you. But I know that I love you.”
She said all the love she received “is sitting heavy in my chest, and I don’t know what to do except give it back.” Expressing her fears, she admitted, “I’m scared of what’s next, scared I won’t be enough.”
However, she promised, “Whatever I have, even the smallest piece of me, I’ll put it out there.”
She Wants to Make People Feel Less Alone
Aneet shared that if her work “makes you laugh, or cry, or remember something you thought you’d forgotten,” then she believes “maybe that’s what I’m here for.” She vowed to continue trying “imperfect, but with everything I’ve got” because, as she said, “I love you.”
Saiyaara Changes Lives of Two Rising Stars
While this was Ahaan Panday’s big Bollywood debut, Aneet Padda had previously acted in Salaam Venky (2022) with Kajol. She also starred in the 2024 show Big Girls Don’t Cry on Amazon Prime Video. However, Saiyaara turned both into overnight stars.
Their fresh performances and heartfelt acting stood out and resonated with millions.
Box Office Success and Critical Praise
Apart from Ahaan and Aneet, the cast also includes Alam Khan, Varun Badola, Shaad Randhawa, Shaan Groverr, Rajesh Kumar, and Geeta Aggarwal Sharma. According to Sacnilk, the film has collected ₹304.6 crore in India and ₹500 crore worldwide, making it one of the highest-grossing Indian films of 2025.
