Despite this, Singapore's defense stayed firm. Their backline, along with an alert goalkeeper, worked tirelessly to block several scoring opportunities and deny Chinese Taipei any further success.

As the match neared its end, TOH Li Min struck in the 59th minute to extend Singapore's lead to 3-1. This decisive goal sealed the game and ensured Singapore walked away with a well-deserved win.
