Olivia Rodrigo Splits from Lighthouse Management Amid Social Media Buzz
Olivia Rodrigo has reportedly ended her partnership with longtime managers Aleen Keshishian and Zack Morgenroth just as she begins working on her next album, marking another major change in her career.

Grammy-winning pop star Olivia Rodrigo has officially parted ways with her longtime managers, Aleen Keshishian and Zack Morgenroth of Lighthouse Management + Media, according to a report by PrimeTimer. The decision comes at a key moment as the Guts singer starts preparing for her next studio album.

The split coincides with social media buzz surrounding Keshishian, who drew attention after liking a post that some fans saw as a subtle jab at Taylor Swift. The post mentioned Swift’s new single “Father Figure,” which certain online users speculated was about Rodrigo. Neither Rodrigo nor Swift has ever commented on those rumors.

Social Media Stir Adds to the Timing

Keshishian’s online interaction quickly caught the eye of both Rodrigo’s and Swift’s fan bases, fueling intense debate across platforms. However, neither Rodrigo nor her former management team has released a public statement about the separation or the trending post.

According to PrimeTimer sources, Rodrigo is staying focused on her creative projects and not engaging with fan-driven controversies. Insiders at Interscope Records said the singer is currently forming an in-house executive team rather than rushing to sign with another management firm.

A Pattern of Professional Shifts

This is not the first major management reshuffle in Rodrigo’s career. She had earlier parted ways with her previous manager, Kristen Smith, right before launching her debut world tour — a move described at the time as a “professional reset.”

Rodrigo recently concluded her Guts world tour in August and has since returned to Los Angeles to begin work on her next album. Speaking at Amex Platinum Presents: There’s Nothing Like It, she said being home has helped her regain creative energy.

“Now I’m home and I’m working on my new album,” Rodrigo shared. “I’ve worked a lot with Amex over the past few years to do some special performances and there is one coming up very soon, but I won’t give too much away," she added.

From Disney Star to Global Icon

Born on February 20, 2003, Olivia Rodrigo began her career in entertainment as a child actor. She first appeared in commercials and in the 2015 film An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success. She gained wider recognition through her roles in Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark (2016–2019) and Disney+’s High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (2019–2022).

Transitioning to music, Rodrigo signed with Geffen Records and made her global breakthrough with the 2021 single Drivers License, which topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight consecutive weeks. Her debut album Sour followed, featuring hits like Good 4 U, Deja Vu, Traitor, and Brutal.

In 2022, she released the documentary Driving Home 2 U, which chronicled the making of Sour. Her second studio album Guts (2023) included the chart-topping single Vampire, along with Bad Idea Right? and Get Him Back!.

Awards and Achievements

Rodrigo’s impact on pop music has been remarkable. She has scored three Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles, two Billboard 200 No. 1 albums, and eight RIAA multi-platinum songs. Her accolades include three Grammy Awards, four MTV VMAs, and seven Billboard Music Awards.

She has also been recognized with major honors such as Time’s Entertainer of the Year (2021), Billboard Woman of the Year (2022), and ASCAP Pop Music Songwriter of the Year in both 2022 and 2024.
