United States President Donald Trump said on Saturday that he used tariff threats to stop conflicts across the world. He claimed he prevented “five of the eight wars” by warning countries about possible tariffs.

Trump shared the statement in a strong post on Truth Social. He wrote, “We are taking in TRILLIONS of Dollars in Tariffs and Investment Dollars from foreign lands because of Tariffs. I have stopped 5 of the eight WARS directly because of the threat of Tariffs if they don’t stop fighting or, better yet, if they start.”

Fresh Claims After India-Pakistan Remark

Trump’s comments came months after he repeated his claim about stopping a military confrontation between India and Pakistan in May this year. However, India has never confirmed his involvement in any ceasefire talks with Pakistan.

Trump Targets Biden While Praising Tariff Impact

Next, Trump took a swipe at former President Joe Biden. He said there is almost “no inflation” now and added that inflation was “the worst in USA History under Sleepy Joe Biden.”

He also highlighted Wall Street’s record performance. In the same post, he wrote, “The Stock Market just hit an ALL-TIME HIGH for the 48th time in 9 months.”
Trump then attacked conservative donor Leonard Leo, the Koch network, and several foreign countries. He accused them of using tariffs to exploit the United States for years. He added, “we don’t have a Court System that’s going to let you destroy our Country any longer.”

Trump Says USA Is Stronger Than Ever

According to Trump, the United States is currently at its strongest position. He wrote that the country is the “richest, strongest, and most respected” it has ever been.

Finally, he said the reasons behind this strength are “November 5th,” the date of the 2024 US presidential election, and “the tariffs.”
