PM Modi held delegation-level talks with King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein in Amman. During the discussions, he said India and Jordan share a “common and clear position" against terrorism.
Recalling an earlier interaction, Modi said their first meeting took place on the sidelines of the United Nations in 2015. That event also focused on countering violent extremism. “I recall that our first meeting also took place on the sidelines of the UN in 2015, at an event focused on countering violent extremism. Even then, you delivered inspirational remarks on this subject,” he said.
