Despite being down by two goals, Mohammedan SC responded in the second half. In the 78th minute, Gomez crossed the ball to Makhan Chothe in the six-yard box. Chothe remained composed and finished with a goal into the bottom right corner, reducing the deficit to 2-1.

Hyderabad FC Seals the Victory

Finally, Hyderabad FC sealed the win in stoppage time. Mohammedan SC pushed forward in search of an equalizer. However, Hyderabad FC launched a rapid counterattack. Paulista found Joseph Sunny in the box, and Sunny finished with a powerful shot into the top right corner, making it 3-1.
