India Kills Top Lashkar Commanders in Operation Sindoor
India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, and eliminated two top Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in a precise, non-escalatory strike on terror camps in Pakistan and PoK.

India successfully killed two top Lashkar-e-Taiba leaders, Abdul Malik and Mudassir during the Operation Sindoor. The strike on Muridke, home to the Masjid wa Markaz Taiba, destroyed the terror group’s ideological hub. Additionally, strikes in Bahawalpur, Muzaffarabad, and Kotli weakened Lashkar’s network.

India launched Operation Sindoor on May 7, 2025, in direct response to the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. This strike aimed to destroy major terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Armed Forces Carried Out a Joint Strike

For the first time since the 1971 war, the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force conducted a joint mission. They used precise intelligence to hit nine terror camps. Importantly, they avoided Pakistani military targets to prevent further escalation.

India Used Precision and Caution

Moreover, Indian forces acted with great care. They struck only known terror sites. They did not cross the border. According to the Defence Ministry,“Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution. We are living up to the commitment that those responsible for this attack will be held responsible.”

International Reactions

Meanwhile, many countries have followed the events closely. Although a few expressed concern about rising tensions, most recognized India’s move as a justified response to terrorism.

A Clear Message to Terror Groups

In fact, killing Abdul Malik and Mudassir is a major success in India’s fight against terror. The operation sent a strong warning to cross-border terror groups. It proved that India will act fast and firmly to protect its people.
