Netanyahu Calls Iran Strike a Victory, Pushes for New Peace Deals
Netanyahu called Israel’s strike on Iran a “great victory” and urged fast action to expand peace with Arab nations.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday said Israel’s recent military action against Iran has opened the door to expanding peace with Arab nations. He described the operation as a “great victory” and urged quick diplomatic moves to take advantage of the moment.

Israel Claims Victory After 12 Days of War

In a video message, Netanyahu said Israeli forces fought Iran with strong determination during a 12-day conflict. He claimed the country emerged victorious.

“This victory opens the path to dramatically enlarge the peace accords,” he stated.

He referred to the Abraham Accords, a set of agreements brokered by the United States in 2020. These deals led Israel to normalize relations with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco.

Netanyahu Urges Urgent Diplomatic Action

Netanyahu stressed that Israel must act fast to build on its recent success. He believes the current moment is critical for long-term peace.

“Alongside the freeing of hostages and defeat of Hamas, there is a window of opportunity that must not be missed. We cannot waste even a single day,” he warned.

Ceasefire Offers Relief to Gaza Residents

Earlier, US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran. This news brought hope to many Palestinians, who have faced over 20 months of war in Gaza.

The conflict has destroyed large parts of the region, displaced most residents, and left many people suffering from malnutrition.

Israel Hopes More Nations Will Join Peace Accords

On Sunday, Netanyahu said the military blow to Iran could lead other countries to join the Abraham Accords. He believes Israel’s regional influence is now growing.

“We have broken the axis,” he told reporters. “This is a huge change and Israel’s status is rising, not just in the West Asia but also in the world. This is a tectonic shift.”

He ended his statement with hope, “We will see a bright new future, of security, of prosperity, of hope and of peace.”
