Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) deputy chief Saifullah Qasoori made fresh remarks against Israel and warned Muslim countries not to recognise the Jewish state. His speech, which circulated online, drew attention from security agencies because of its strong anti-Israel tone and extremist messaging.
Indian intelligence agencies describe Qasoori as the alleged mastermind behind the Pahalgam terror attack.
Qasoori Warns Muslim Leaders
In his speech, Qasoori opposed any move by Muslim countries to establish diplomatic ties with Israel.
“If they sign thinking we too should accept the Jews of Israel, even though that cannot happen, whoever does so, whether they are a ruler, a king, or anyone else, whoever accepts Israel will be destroyed, devastated, and ruined," Saifullah Qasoori said.
He also claimed that the Muslim world would never recognise Israel.
“This is our faith as the Muslim Ummah that it will never, under any circumstances, recognise Israel," he said.
Qasoori further described Israel as “a bully, a terrorist, and the world’s biggest thug."

Remarks Follow Abraham Accords Debate
His comments came shortly after Pakistan rejected calls from US President Donald Trump to normalise relations with Israel under the Abraham Accords. Pakistan repeated its long-standing position that it would not recognise Israel without the creation of an independent Palestinian state.
Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif also rejected suggestions that Muslim-majority countries should join the Abraham Accords.
Qasoori Mentions Pakistan-Saudi Defence Pact
During the speech, Qasoori repeatedly spoke about Pakistan’s military strength and its role in the Islamic world. He referred to the Pakistan-Saudi defence agreement signed in 2025 and claimed it had brought Pakistan strategically closer to Israel.
“The distance from Pakistan to Israel was 4,000 kilometers. Today, Pakistan, with all its power, technology, and resources capable of destroying the enemy, is present just 400 kilometers away from Israel," he claimed.
He also described Pakistan as the “defense leader of the Islamic world” and Saudi Arabia as its “spiritual and ideological leader.”
Indian Intelligence Responds
Indian intelligence officials said Qasoori appeared to be promoting jihadist ideology and trying to frame Pakistan-Saudi cooperation through an anti-Israel narrative.
However, officials clarified that the Pakistan-Saudi defence pact focused on wider security cooperation and not on military deployment against Israel.
“The agreement is focused on broader security cooperation, not offensive deployment purposes 400 kilometers from Israel," sources said.
