Delhi Bus Accident Leaves Two Dead, Several Injured in Karol Bagh
Two people died and more than 20 were injured after a bus overturned near Jhandewalan Temple in Delhi’s Karol Bagh early Wednesday.

Two people lost their lives and over 20 others were injured after a bus lost control and overturned near Jhandewalan Temple in central Delhi’s Karol Bagh in the early hours of Wednesday. According to police, the bus was coming from Jaipur and had around 25 passengers on board at the time of the accident.

Rescue teams rushed to the spot

Officials said they received information about the crash at 1:08 am. Soon after, multiple rescue teams reached the site and began operations. They pulled injured passengers out of the overturned bus and rushed them to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for treatment.

Possible loss of control by driver

Initial investigation suggested that the driver may have lost control of the vehicle, which caused the bus to overturn. However, authorities said the exact reason behind the accident is still not clear.

Police begin investigation

Police have started a detailed probe to understand how the accident happened and to establish the sequence of events leading up to the crash.
